It’s been a fantastic Spring tour - thank you all for coming out and seeing us! We’ve really enjoyed playing as a trio with Aidan on violin as well as trying out some new material which will feature on our third studio album next year.

Old News - October / November 2025

We had a busy start to Autumn and enjoyed some glorious sunny weather and autumnal drizzle - here are a few highlights:

• On Friday 5th September we made the short journey to St Albans for some foodie festival fun at ‘Pub in the Park’ - an event based around cooking (Tom Kerridge) with some music (Dizzee Rascal, Rick Parfitt Jr) thrown into the mix. Having been picked to play on the ‘Emerging Headliner’ stage, we also did a set for the entrance crowd - tough gig but we turned it around!

• Saturday 6th September saw us at the beautiful Crown in Broughton again

  ……and the following weekend, we were invited to play at Brooke Law’s singer- songwriter night at the Sir Richard Steele’s in Belsize Park.
  

• In a new series, we are sharing behind the scenes video footage of us recording ‘Now I Swim’ at Gerry Diver’s studio in Colindale between Autumn 2023 and Summer 2024. Here’s the first one, featuring a clip of Gem’s original take of ‘Man Mother Boy’:

Old News - July / August 2025

Things have been incredibly busy since our new album ‘Now I Swim’ was released in June. We have just come back from a weekend opening up a new sculpture by Nicky and friend Tony Broomhead in Llanelli last weekend. More here if you are interested!

Sales of our new white vinyl album ‘Now I Swim’ are going well and we have posted off copies all over the world - from Australia to Ireland and Gibraltar to Enfield! In other news, we are very excited to let you know of our upcoming appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends! We are travelling to Salford on Friday to record the show this Friday prior to public broadcast on Saturday 2nd August at 18:15. We will be sharing the mic with TV personality Jo Wood, Tori Allen-Martin, Rajiv Karia and Riya. We are looking forward to meeting presenter Nihal Arthanayake and performing a song in the BBC Studios! More details here:

Now I Swim - Album out on 6th June 2025!

We have been gearing up for the release of Now I Swim on 6th June and things have been getting very busy! We have been receiving some very positive news and feedack about the release, culminating in a number of new gigs, radio appearances, reviews and press features. Highlights include:

- BBC Radio 4 Loose Ends:
Interview and studio performance on Saturday 5th July. This long running show is presented by Clive Anderson and we are very excited to appear alongside, Debbie Wiseman, Mel Giedroyc, Rachel Parris.

- Fresh on the Net Faves:
The title track Now I Swim from the upcoming album was selected from 125 entries as one of the 10 featured tracks. We were amazed with the review of this track by Del Osei-Owusu who comments - “I really don’t know what to say about this because when I first heard it, it kind of left me speechless…”

- New gig bookings, including performances at:
• Campout Festival, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales - 7th to 10th August
• Broomfield Bowl (Broomfield Park), N13 - 12th July
• Livestock Festival, Forty Hall, EN2 - 19th July

Along with all this we are also developing the concept and music for our next album which is a very rewarding way to fill up the few remaining hours in the week!

2025 is a big year!

After carefully crafting our new record ‘Now I Swim’ with multi talented artist and producer Gerry Diver, we are now getting ready to share it with you.

28 February saw the release of the debut single Something Different, a bright and entrancing song about relationships evolving over time. We’re getting a wonderful response to it and really enjoyed our live session and interview with Gaby Roslin on her BBC London Show on 23 February.

We are releasing one more single, “Pick up the Pieces” from the record on 11 April before the full album release on 6 June 2025.

With hauntingly beautiful melodies, intricate guitar work and evocative lyrics, “Now I Swim” delves deep into the human experience, weaving tales of resilience and hope that transcend time and place. Drawing from their own family history and the collective memory of others, this album promises to resonate with listeners on a deeply emotional level.
